CHRISTmas Blessings to Each and Everyone of you

This is a hard time ofyear for me being away from my family and friends but the joy if knowing my Savior left all the glory of heaven and the adoration of all the angels and all of heaven to be born a man, giving up His place as Kingof Kings and Lord of Lords to come here so He could die for you and me is beyond my comprehension. Could you or I do it, I think not, but HIS love is beyond anything we will ever understand. You and I are loved passionately by this King of Kings, Lord of all, the creator of everything. How can we ever say thank you enough. His Name is Holy, He is Holy and He deserves all praise, adoration and glory. Thank you my Lord. May we all honor this day what YOU and You alone have done for us, that no one else could have done.

OOPs one more Christmas Card

What is happening, I never enjoy making Christmas cards but this year being captive inside because of the winter storms, I have fallen prey to making cards LOL

Another Winter Card

These cards have a lot of glitter but it doesn't show that much in the pictures. It has been a long time since I made winter cards without it being a cactus with a santa hat LOL

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We are here in Iowa, alot different than Arizona but it is easier to stamp in a spare bedroom than the frontseat of a car. We will be here until about March or April. It has been a long time since I have seen this much snow. :) Anyway, decided to ride the wave of winter and make some winter cards. These are Meljen Images. I love her images. Hugs, Cathy K

Birthday Card for My Sister

I made her another card that was a lot more detailed and then this one and when I asked my husband which one she would like, we both knew it would be this one. So it is a simple card but as per usual, it has to have butterlies :)

Sisters in Christ Challenge

O.K. I think I have my cell phone photo screen fixed. I love these pots because it reminds me of the story in the bible about the potter and the clay :) There is a crack in the bottom pot but it is hard to see. Thank you for looking and blessings to you all.

Another Thank You Card :)

Guess what! I got 2 cards done tonight :) I can't believe it but I did and it felt so good to beable to stamp. Maybe there is hope for me after all LOL or maybe the Thanksgiving spirit is on me. These aren't the usual thanksgiving images but they are images I had and so without stamps or a printer this is what I made. Hugs, and if I don't get another card made then please have a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

It is that time of year when we remember all the things we are thankful for. There are too many for me to list, first my Jesus, then my honey (thank you for 20 wonderful years) and all my friends. Thank you for sticking with me through this "strange" journey. Hugs, Cathy

Card for my sister

I won't know what to do when I have a stamping room or desk and more than minimal supplies again. But until then I will still make cards. My sister likes to get a card at least once a month and since she lives so far away, I love making her one . Hugs, Cathy K

Was thinking about my grandson in Afghanistan and just wanted to honor him and others who are over there in dangerous situations. Please remember to pray for them.

Matts card 9/23/2012

O.K.   I like this one better.  Have to exchange the little gold stars for ones that don't glitter before I send it but it will be the same size stars and etc. The big star does't have any glitter so I think it will be o.k.   Oh for a stamp store or a Michales or Joann's  LOL

House Mouse

Enjoying a few days with no meetings and just recooping :)

Some sweetie sent me this image and I saw it and had to do

something with it.  As you know I don't have many supplies 

with me other than what I "snuck" in my suitcase LOL. The background this card is a royal purple, you can't tell 

because the lighting in this house is so bad.  And of course

I had to have butterflies.  Anyway, I hope to get made but

this one is hitting the mail on Monday to a Teacher in 

N.M.  (that is all I am going to say LOL

Again, I didn't have much with me but found this image to color and had to add a house mouse to make it "legal" LOL  I will be glad when we get settled and I can have a stamp room again.

Card for my Grandson Matt in Afghanistan

My Youngest Grandson Matt has just arrived in Afghanistan.  This is the first

card I am sending him.  I hope to send him one a week.  He is so awesome and

we are so proud of  him.  

Red Rose Card

This is a simple Thank You card I made for 

some dear friends of our.  I love sparkles so it has lots of sparkle on it.

Sketch Challenge on our House Mouse Group

This was a sketch challenge that we did on our Original

House Mouse Lovers Group.   It looks like the ribbon is 

crooked but I went back and it is straight on the card, 

which shows me that you never photograph a card on

the wash machine when it is washing LOL

Our 4 Generations Celebrating Together

This is a picture of our 4 generations.  Myself, my

daugher, my granddaughter and my great granddaughter. 

It was the first time we had all been together because 

my daughter lives many states away.  I got the photo 

crooked as usual but you can see us.  My granddaughter 

had the frame to give me for 2 years but couldn't find

the right picture to put in it.  Boy was I surprised when

I opened the gift on my birthday.  It was a 

wonderful day. 

Get Well Card

This is just a simple card I made for a friend who has had

an operation.  Of course butterflies.  I had to make it 

quickly because the mailman was coming and I had 

to get it out there and pray he would pick it up.  I don't 

know about your mailman  but mine only picks up 

mail if he is dropping some off :)

Sketch challenge on Createacard Group

I tried to follow the sketch as much as possible but I don't have a lot of dies and etc since I gave everything away.  The balloons are glittered and the butterflies pop up .  Now someone has to have a birthday LOL  the image is Precious Moments.  Hugs Cathy

Card for my Sister #1

I made this card for my sister, I have been neglecting her by not sending her cards since we moved to Arizona, I hope this one and the one below will make up for it. Well, I sure hope so anyway. The inside says, " I'm Keeping My Eyes on You!" We have always watched out for each other and since I am the youngest, it is my turn to watch out after her. At least I think so LOL

I had a hard time with this card, it just didn't seems to fit together. Oh well, she will love it just because it came from me :)

I Made this card for my sister, This image is one of two sisters and she is hte taller one and I am the short one. Yep, that's me ~ short LOL. The colors are a big out of sorts because of my cell phone. Maybe I will get a good camera for my birthday.

Michael (Our other Speaker )

Michael is an amazing speaker and spoke with Mark and I at our conference. I wanted a manly card since he is so awesome and also an attorney :) What a wonderful time we had with him. He was so much fun. I am glad I spoke before he did, or I would have been more intimidated :)

Thank You Card For Laura (one of our singers)

Laura came all the way from Wyoming to sing at our conference and she was

amazing. She and Sally, (who's Thank You card you will see next ) sang with

Bernadette Alveraze who led the singing and played the keyboard with her husband druming and 2 awesome gutarists ..... they were all amazing. What a wonderful time we had in worship and song.

Had this image in my stash and had to use it. There is lots of glitz on it but I don't know if it will show or not. Now I have to get the rest of the images I made for my House Mouse Group on cardstock and get them in the mail.

A Card For My Friend and Her New Puppy Mya

This is for my friend Kim who just got a new puppy and named

her Mya. What a cute name. Mya is black but I couldn't color

this image black, (I tried, but you couldn't see her nose or eyes LOL) so I had to go with gray. Would love to hold that puppy but alas

she is too far away. Enjoy your new baby Kim.

Guam Card Swap

We were to make a card like we did 10 years ago, so we could not use die cuts or die cut machines, no Copics or pens that were not used then and everything had to be what was available then. I used this old stamp image from years ago and then used my little sissors to make it look like a photo edging. I used my old colored pencils to shade the card. and I found an old decorator sissor in a box and used it for the tag. This was fun but challenging as I am used to my die cutting machine and my dies and my pens.
